The YOC ring is part of the P'arowo No Ororé collection, a speculative journey into the future of humanity and machine, exploring how to make the cyborg world more inclusive. The project envisions a world where the boundaries between human and robot dissolve, giving rise to new forms of identity, ritual, and remembrance inspired by Pacific cultures and regions.
This series re-question the role of technology in shaping identity and culture. It challenges our collective imagination of what robots currently are and could become; no longer soulless machines, but vessels of memory, diversity, and humanity’s evolving soul.
The YOC ring is 8 mm high and 7mm wide, mounted on a 2mm square band. The ring shape is inspired by the engraved lines of the futuristic faces of P'arowo No Ororé collection. The high-polish silver finish adds a touch of sophistication, making it a unique and stylish accessory.
